Last weekend I hosted an all girl get together and skate jam at Salt Lake City’s 9th & 9th skatepark. .There was a great turnout of both experienced and beginner skaters. The local female skate community is definitely growing so it was a good opportunity to get acquainted and make new friends..The skaters took over the park for 4 hours offering encouragement and support to each other throughout the session..The Ladies Jam was a timed 45 minute “expression session” with everyone ripping the park together. Awards went to Penelope, Lenna, Berrit, Cassidy, Devin, Izzy, Vail, and Audrey..There was a raffle and everyone seemed to be a winner. We had pizza, ice cream cake, and refreshments..I am looking forward to meeting up again. Thank you all for coming out!
