I went on a trip to Huntington Beach California for a skateboarding competition. It is called Exposure and it is a girls competition and a get together. They have a street competition a vert competition and a bowl competition. I did all of them. My personal favorite was the vert competition. Afterwards we went to the Venice Beach skate park it was very fun because we only get to go there about 2 times in the year so it was really fun to get a chance to go there. I also learned a few new tricks. I love going to California because I get to go to skate parks I usually don’t go to. It was my first vert competition and my first time at the Vans Huntington Beach skate park. We also went to the Berrics the Berrics is an indoor street skate park it was a get together we went the night we went to the Vans skate park. It was really fun there were tacos and mini contests and they had a raffle it was my first time to the Berrics. That was one of the best California trips yet.

Hi my name is Elle and I am 10 years old I live in Salt Lake City Utah. I skateboard pretty much every day my dad tot me how to skateboard he must be really patient. I was about 5 when I really wanted to start skateboarding but I would roll around the house a lot. I have a brother he is 6 years old he is a hand full he like to ride a scooter and is starting to get on the skateboard a lot as well. My mom loves to cook, sew, and craft she also loves to run she is competitive with it too. I have 2 dogs named Petunia, 7 and Milo, 3 We adopted Milo and Petunia Milo is a Chihuahua mix and Petunia is a Chinese bull dog they are the best dogs you could ever have.

Hey everyone,

To get into the Halloween spirit we went out skating in our costumes at West Valley skate park. We skated around the pump track more times than can keep track of. It was awesome! I love this time of year because the trees are changing and we are starting to get a little snow now and then. The sad part is the skate parks get filled with leaves and snow once we start getting into winter. So then skateboarders have to find indoor skate parks and you know how those indoor skate parks go, you pay then it turns out to be a disaster. It is terrible someone always comes out of those places hurt. Well back to Halloween my brothers birthday is on Halloween he is turning 6 years old. WOW! So after skateboarding in our costumes we went to our friends house and we carved pumpkins and has a good time. I carved Sponge Bob Square Pants I was actually pretty impressed with myself for my first Sponge Bob Square Pants Pumpkin ever. YAY! That was a fun day😆.

I am Elle Warne I am 10 years old I am in 5th grade I live in Salt Lake City Utah. I love to skateboard every day. I skated around my house probably sense I was 2 years old. I really wanted to start skateboarding when I was 5 years old. I have a Skateboarding ramp in my garage my dad helped me build it when I was about 8 years old. I am really lucky to live in Salt Lake City because there is a vans skate park at Utah state fair grounds it has great transition than any skate park I have ever been to. I love going to the competitions especially the local competitions it feels like everyone wants me there. I don’t know what I would do without skateboarding everyone in the skateboarding community that I have met are so nice and generous! I hope you enjoy skateboarding as much as me 😁
