Nike SB Charge Shoe Review

I have been searching for the best skate shoe and recently purchased a pair of Nike SB Charge to try out. Here is my review after skating a lot of transition and street.

The toe of the shoe held up surprisingly well to my knee slides. I expected the toe to wear out fast since there is not a rubber “toe cap” compared to other skate shoes. I have been also skating a lot of street doing ollie and kickflip tricks. The sides “ollie patch” held up really well and didn’t wear through. Usually the front foot side wears out much faster compared to other skate shoes.

The lace position is higher up on the shoe protecting the laces from breaking when doing knee slides. I usually break laces each session wearing other skate shoes.

The Nike SB Charge is a very comfortable shoe. I think the shoe has one of the best padded inserts for skating. They provide more cushion on the toe and heal than other skate shoes I have tried. Also, the shoe is light and allows for good board feel.

Overall I really like the Nike SB Charge and plan on making this shoe my primary skate shoe. I highly recommend this shoe if you are looking for an all around skate shoe. Check out my video review of the Nike SB Charge.

I appreciate your comments if you have experience with the Nike SB Charge.

Thank You 😊 -Elle
